Brand Identity
The Bolt is the name of a hardcover photobook created by Jack Walker. Based off the Minimal Man song Pull Back the Bolt, the photographic sequence depicts six months in Europe through my eyes. The Bolt represents fearlessness and pushing against limitations and doubt.

Photos from The Bolt, all shot on 35mm. Photos range from travel, fashion, and curiosity,
The objective of the project was to connect different genres of photography to create a message and narrative.

Typography/Branding/Graphic Design
Using different elements of design ranging from my passport to a stack of Milanese postcards from the 60s to create a new marketable image to support the concept of the book. I also created the typeface for the cover of the book.
I hosted an exhibition in Costa Mesa, Ca to promote the book. I introduced the project via Instagram and Tik Tok using custom videos and visuals I created to align with the project's identity. The Book was released on August 22nd, 2024 and the exhibition lasted until October 20th, 2024.

Introduction Video: "The Bolt"
Using stop motion, I compiled over 1400 35mm photos into a quick introduction video to announce the video to the public.

Supporting Advertisment:
While fascinated with textiles and textures in photography I used AI t create a unique variety of textures which I applied to the phrase and motto "Pull Back The Bolt"

Recap/Thank you video:
As a thank you I recapped all of the footage from the opening to show my love for those who supported me.
Filming by Josh Walker and Luca Pantel
Exhibiton:
The exhibition for The Bolt was a culmination of gratitude, hard work, and celebration. After 6 months in Europe and three months of editing, printing, framing, and assembling, the exhibition was ready to launch. The opening included screenprinting, wine, beer, and tacos. I was fortunate enough to show my work for the next two months. The photos resided at Neat Coffee where they hung over customers and added an element of decoration to an already vibrant community. Because of the exhibition, Neat has launched an artist program that displays new artists in the community monthly.
